The Federal High Court, Kano, has granted the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), an order exparte to close down 13 unregistered Hajj and Umrah Tour operating companies in Kano.

The court order was sequel to the motion exparte application filed on the 27th February 2017, by the commission against the companies for operating Hajj and Umrah business without valid operation license.

The application which was supported by a 7– paragraph affidavit deposed to by the Head of lnspectorate and Compliance.
After hearing, Hon. Justice Z. B. Abubakar on the 9th March, 2017 granted the Commission’s leave to wit: seal the business premises of the affected companies.
Meanwhile, the Commission’s Kano zonal office has begun the implementation of the Court’s order.
The companies closed down under the court order includes the following:

1.     Mush Travel and Tours

2.     Billiyu Travel and Tours.

3.     IBH Travel and Tours.

4.     FARDIQ   Travel and Tour.

5.     Mungadi and  Taiseer

6.     Al Manar  Travel and  Tour

7.     Aslam Travel and Tour

8.     Sundown Travel and Tour

9.     Dayim  Travel and Tour.

10. Al-furqan Travel and Tour.

11. Almukhtar Travel and Tour

12. Meku Travel and Tour

13. MPC Travel and Tour
