R.O Abdussalam
Head – Monitoring & Evaluation Division
Abdussalam Rafiu Olayiwola is hailed from Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State, and was born on the 11th November, 1963. He obtained his HND in Accountancy from Lagos State Polytechnic, Lagos, and Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from University of Calabar and Masters in Personnel Psychology (MPP) from University of Ibadan.
Working experience;
His career began with the then Nigerian Pilgrims Board as an INTERNAL AUDITOR (1987 – 1993). He became the ZONAL ACCOUNTANT (Lagos Zonal Office 1994 – 2001) and later became the ZONAL COORDINATOR Lagos Zonal Office (2002 -2010), under the then Directorate of Pilgrims Affairs. HEAD, INSPECTORATE AND COMPLIANCE DIVISION of NAHCON, (2010 – 2012), later to Admin as Assistant Director, TRAINING AND STAFF DEVELOPMENT (2013 -2017) later to PRSILS as Deputy Director, MONITORING AND EVALUATION DIVISION (2018 – June, 2020) He became the Ag. DIRECTOR, MONITORING AND EVALUATION (July 2020 –June 2021) Finally, he was appointed as the DIRECTOR, MONITORING AND EVALUATION from July, 2021 till date.

Mustapha Fatima Muhammed (Mrs)
Head, Media & Publications Division
Functions of the Division:
The Information and Public division was created in June 2018, from the former media section in the Office of the Chairman aftermath of the re-structuring exercise in the Commission.
It comprises of three sections, Information and Publication, New Media and the Broadcast section. These sections are further divided into four sub-units which are: Print and In-House publication, Radio, Television and New Media Units. The Division is under the Department of Planning, Research and Statistics, Information and Library Services.
To oversee and coordinate the activities of the entire Division
To propose the formulation and implementation of Press related policies and programmes for the Commission.
To relate with the Media Organizations.
To organize Press Events and Conferences
Bello Kaoje
Head, Electronic Media Division
Bello Kaoje was born on the 31st of December, 1964 in Kaoje town, Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
In 1991, he graduated with Bachelor of Arts degree in the English language from the Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto. Upon completion of his National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) in Osun State in 1992, he gained employment into the Federal Civil Service in Lagos (at that time) as Information Officer He was posted to Federal Ministry of Information and Culture and was immediately sent for one year training in Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Lagos in the programme: Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations in 1994.
Upon completion of his training, he was deployed in Jigawa State Government House, Dutse as a correspondent of the Ministry, one time a press Officer with Federal Ministry of Water Resources, Federal Ministry of Science and Technology, the Civil Service Commission and finally to the defunct Directorate of Pilgrims Affairs and now the National Commission of Nigeria, where he currently spent, seventeen years from 2004 to date. He spent most of his career in the information Division of the Commission. Apart from that, he was sometimes posted to become the Commission’s Abuja/Minna-Zonal Coordinator in charge of Abuja, Nasarawa, Kogi and Niger States and later Sokoto Zonal coordinator ln Charge of Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara states.
Recently in 2019, he Was dep1oyed to the Commission’s Headquarters and ever since he has been heading the Electronic Media Section of the Commission. He is Currently an Assistant
Director, Information. Abubakar Kaoje is married with children,
Sa’ad Ahmad Imam
Head, Pilgrims Education and Orientation Division
Mallam Ahmad Imam Sa’ad was born in 1963 in Mubi Local Government Area of Adamawa State of Nigeria. He first of all attended Quranic School before enrolling into the primary school at the tender age of seven (7) that was precisely in 1970. He thereafter proceeded to secondary school education from 1981 – 1985 where he obtained his grade two teachers’ certificate in 1985. Same year he gained admission into the University of Maiduguri to read Diploma in Arabic and Islamic studies from 1985 – 1987 upon successful completion of his Diploma, he taught for a short-while at Federal College of Education, Yola for two years before moving to Adamawa State College of legal studies, Yola where he eventually got admission to undergo programme in Arabic from 1989 – 1994. Upon completion of his degree, he went back to his teaching appointment with the College of Legal Studies. He successfully completed his Masters in 2010 and thereafter became the Head of Arabic Department.
In 2008, he was called upon on secondment as the special assistant (SA) – technical to the Chairman/CEO of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) the position he held until 2012 when he eventually transferred his service to NAHCON. He has worked at Yola Zonal office before being redeployed to the Headquarters in 2018.

Mustapha Wafiyya Saleh (Mrs)
Head, Planning Division
Wafiyyah Saleh Mustapha is from Katagum LGA of Bauchi State.
She did her primary school at Federal Government College, Azare and obtain my B.Sc Geography degree from University of Maiduguri. She also holds post graduate diploma in Management from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi.
Working Experience: Her carrier began as a banker during her youth service at Union Bank, Kano from 1991-1992. In 1994, she joined Inland Bank as Supervisor and Officer until 1998. She was employed by National Centre for Women Development (NCWD) in 2001. While at NCWD, she worked in various capacities as Senior Account Officer, Principal Admin Officer, Assistant Chief Admin Officer, Chief Admin Officer, and Assistant Director Planning. In 2015, she resigned from public service for 2years before re- joining National Hajj Commission (NAHCON) in 2017 as Chief Admin Officer and Head of Planning Division. She has attended several courses and trainings during her career.
Her hobbies include reading, travelling, cooking and having family time.
Abdullahi Suleiman
Ag. Head ICT Division
Abdullahi Suleiman was born 10th day of April, 1977 at Azare, Katagum Local Government Area of Bauchi State. He completed his Primary and Secondary Schools at Central Primary School Azare and Government Science Secondary School Gombe 1987 and 1993 respectively.
He obtained a Bachelor Degree of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi in 2021. He is a certified ITIL V3 Foundation and Management of Risk (MoR) and a member of Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN).
Before coming to Hajj Commission he worked all his life in Telecommunications and Aviation Industries. He was with Nigerian Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTEL) Abuja 2003 – 2007 as Billing System Administrator. From 2007 – 2008 he was with Center Point Network (CPN) Abuja as IT Business Development Specialist. From 2008 – 2009 he worked with AVSATEL Communications Limited Abuja as Software Engineer. From 2009 – 2014 he worked with EMTS Etisalat Nigeria (now 9mobile) as IT System Application Mgt. and Data Analysis Specialist. From 2014 to 2019 he was with Huawei Technologies Nigeria Limited as Regional Head/Team Lead IT User Support Northern Region (9Mobile Project).
Abdullahi Suleiman joined the Commission on 1st July, 2019. He is married with Children.
Functions of the Division:
To review and advice the Management on recent and established ICT polices and regulations.
To chart a course for IT advancements in line with the Commission’s mandate to provide efficient and effective service to Nigeria Pilgrims
To manage, maintain and supervise the use of current IT infrastructure of the Commission.
To coordinate the electronic Pilgrim registration process for the entire country.
Aisha Magaji (Mrs)
Head – Library Services Division
Aisha Umar Magaji holds a BSc in Library and Information Sciences from Bayero University Kano. A member of Nigerian Institute of Management (chattered)(NIM), member of (NLA) Nigerian Library Association (FCT Chapter), member of women Librarian in Nigeria (AWLIN) FCT Chapter. Currently working with National Hajj Commission of Nigeria as Liberian 1. She is a native of Yola in Adamawa State, married with three children, speaks Hausa, Fulfulde and English.
Library Services: is a Division under Planning, Research Statistics Information and Library Services Department. The Library was created on 2008 under the Supervision of the Former Commissioner Sheikh Saleh Orenwa. The division has 2 units with 3 staff and empress of the analog and the digital which will soon be functional.
