Pursuant to the Commission’s desire to establish a Hajj Savings Scheme (HSS), the Coordinator of HSS/HTI (Hajj Training Institute), Dr Aliyu Tanko, led a team of NAHCON officials to the headquarters of the Bank in Abuja on 12th August where they met with the Management Team of the bank led by the MD/CEO and other top functionaries of the Bank.

The purpose of the meeting was to show the NAHCON Team (which includes the ICT Team) the demo of the portal developed for the rollout of the savings scheme. The meeting was interactive. What the Bank presented captured most of the requirements of the Commission. The NAHCON team raised some observations which the bank’s ICT unit promised to amend.
